Is It OK?

Is it ok to have fun in the workplace? The different people may have different opinions about it. However, it may be acceptable that the employees feel happy if his/her boss smiles on him/her and puts a comment with a smile. It minimizes the stress. It makes the employees put extra efforts in their works. But there is a danger also. The smiles and jokes by a boss may take away the seriousness of the assignments and may lead to non effectiveness of the work. So it is a very challenging job on the part of managers to get work done with effectiveness without putting a burden on the minds of employee.
